I want to order cards from you, but I don't know
anyone who can design them.
A large percentage of our customers are small business owners or working for
start-ups and they just don't have the resources to complete their own
materials. If you need help designing a logo and/or developing cards
that are in the correct format and meet our printing/spec requirements, we
can help! Click here to visit our Design Center and learn more about
our creative services.
Can I see some samples of your product before
ordering?
Most definitely! Visit our online request form
and we will send you some samples of what we consider to be the highest
quality cards you can get for the money!
Can I order in quantities smaller than 1,000?
When ordering
off-set printed business cards, most printers require a minimum order of
1,000 cards. This is because most of the cost is in setting up the press,
not in the paper. So, we do offer orders of 500 cards or less, but the cost
savings is very minimal.
What is the difference between off-set printing and
digital printing?
The off-set printing process uses film, inks, and a real press.
Digital printing (like you would get at Kinko's) uses electronic files and is
typically not seen as a having a comparable output to off-set printing in
regards to quality and pricing (especially when dealing with larger
quantities). Off-set printing produces a higher-quality product.
What DPI should I
prepare photo scans?
All photos and graphics should be 300 dpi (dots per inch) or greater. The
file must be scanned and created at a high resolution for the best results.
Are JPEG images acceptable?
JPEG images are not recognized by most image setters and therefore will not
output properly. Please save your files in high resolution .tiff or
.eps format.
What method of
proofing will
I see before printing?
As part of our order process, we request that you send us a .pdf proof or fax us a printout of your
final design so we can quality control/proof your job for you. As far
as a proofing system, we currently do not include a proof in our printing
process. This is for a couple of reasons. First, it adds to the
price. Second, it adds to fulfillment time. Since most of our
jobs are submitted by graphic designers or print shops, we trust that they
have submitted the proper files. We realize that proofing is important
to some of our customers, and will include an online or printed proof process
if requested. We are also currently working with our printing vendor to
include an online proofing process as part of every order...
Does Card Savvy offer price
breaks for multiple orders?
At Card Savvy, we do offer discounts for larger orders (more than five sets
of cards). Simply contact us with the quantity and a customer service
representative will reply by the next business day.
